THE CHAMPIONSHIP STORY
From Lahore to Prebbleton.
The championships began in Lahore, Pakistan, in 2014 as the Asian Fistball Championships. The Asia-Pacific name followed to recognise participation from Oceania, including Australia and New Zealand.
The women’s championship joined the programme in Melbourne in 2018. In 2026, Prebbleton welcomes the event to New Zealand for the first time.
The 2026 tournament also marks the first Asia-Pacific edition to feature countries beyond New Zealand and Australia, with Japan and Samoa joining the competition.
